Pav Layered Navigation is designed to find products based on category, price and any other attribute very easily. This module optimizes and improves navigation of your Opencart store. Using this module you can filter multiple attributes and attributes values at a time. This module also provides an impressive price bar. Both are Ajax based that means customers don’t need to wait for the page reload. Ajax filter integration allows your customers to filter unnecessary categories, attributes, and products to find what they are looking for quickly, without reloads for the page.

Module Installation

Before you install this module:

  1. Make sure you have installed and running the correct version of OpenCart: OpenCart 3.x
  2. Take a FULL BACKUP for your site if you need

Steps to install Pav Layered Navigation Module manually:

Installation of the Pav Layered Navigation module is very simple:

Step 1 - You just need to go to the Admin -> Extensions -> Installer then click to button upload and select file pavlayerednavigation.ocmod.zip for starting upload

Step 2 - When the upload is completed, please go to Extensions -> Modifications to refresh modifycation.

Step 3 - After that under Extensions -> Extensions -> Modules, install the Pav Layered Navigation module like this way.

Step 4 - After clicking on edit option below page will open. Here Admin can set the Pav Layered Navigation configuration as per their need.

Step 5 - You access Catalog -> Filters to add filter

Next, please create a new filter group.

Step 6 - You access Catalog -> Categories then select any categories you want and click on "Edit" button

In here, you navigate to "Data" tab and select kind of filters for the category.

Step 7 - You access Catalog -> Products then select any products you want and click on "Edit" button

In here, you navigate to "Links" tab and select kind of filters for the product.

Step 8 - You access Design => Layouts to edit Category layout.

Then assign the module into the position you want.

The customer can search the product with user defined range filter that is based on Ajax so you don’t need to wait for the page reload.

When setup is done, it's time to check how the module works in the front-end. In the front-end, go to the category page that we assigned filters to and you should see filter block on the left sidebar.
